Muscle Milk Review – How To Use Muscle Milk

There has always been many arguments over when is the best time to take Muscle Milk. Now you need to know that there is no right or wrong answer – Muscle Milk, like any other supplements will affect each individual differently. So you need to decide this for yourself. The following is a guideline only – if you aren’t training much, you don’t need to consume the following amounts. However if you are training your backside off, your body needs the protein to build the muscle.

  • Morning : Muscle Milk is suitable for the morning immediately when you wake. Your body has not been fed for hours and hours and will absorb the first thing it gets fed, so be sure your first meal involves protein – a shake is a great way to do this.

 

  • Pre-Workout : This depends on many things. If you are taking other supplements such as a Nitric Oxide booster or other pre-workout drink, then you want to have a shake at least 90 mins before your workout. If you take too close together, the protein will counteract the pre-workout drink. If you do not take a pre-workout drink, then 30-60 mins before a workout is perfect.

 

  • During Workout : Whilst consuming Muscle Milk during a workout is tough, it can be a good idea as it stops your body from entering a catabolic state. Personally I am too busy training hard to be able to take it Muscle Milk whislt I am training but once again, it is up to the individual and this certainly has its benefits

 

  • Post Workout : Most important time to take Muscle Milk is immediately post workout – the window of opportunity is so small after your workout. So rather than stand around chatting or looking at yourself in the mirror – go get yourself a Muscle Milk. The body is ready to accept protein immediately after a workout, the sooner you get it into your system, the more protein will be absorbed – and the more muscle gained.

 

  • Before Bed : Muscle Milk is most beneficial before bed as it has slow digesting casein protein. This will fuel your body overnight and you will wake up feeling ripped.
