Cellulite Reducing Exercises For Smoother Skin

by admin on January 26, 2010

The cellulite battle is one that almost all women fight at some point in life. The automatic response to cellulite is, of course, to want to be rid of it in a hurry. That’s why many people resort to methods as serious as surgery. A cellulite reduction exercise routine could be a much better and safer option, though.

If you want your cellulite dimples to vanish, the best way is through exercise. There are quite a few simple exercises designed to strengthen and tone your body. The exact result you get will depend on what exercises you do. It all starts with knowing what aerobic and anaerobic exercise routines are.

When it comes to fat burning, aerobic exercises are the way to go. So, aerobics are great for dropping cellulite. Fat cells under your skin’s surface are what cause cellulite to form to begin with, after all.

The simplest way to look at aerobic exercises is that they are intense. For instance, some aerobic exercises are swimming, cycling and jogging. If you prefer, you can even go to the gym to get your aerobic training in. If you want aerobic training at the gym, try the elliptical machine or the stationary bike.

By using aerobic exercise routines, you can quickly tone your muscles. Areas like your buttocks, hips and thighs will quickly benefit. Although that makes aerobics very useful, you still need to do other exercises, too.

Part two of a good exercise routine is anaerobic exercise. Think of anaerobics as being strength and weight-based exercises. You can do the training at home, or at the gym, depending on your needs.

If you want to tone your lower body, try leg curls or presses. You can tone up your body by doing squats or lunges also. One thing that makes them great is that you can dot hem anywhere and at any time.

Another thing that you could incorporate is a floor mat routine. It’s fast and simple to do some leg raises, for example. You can, therefore, squeeze them into even the busiest of days. You can even make them more challenging by adding ankle weights to the routine.

The thing about weights, though, is that they can add a lot of muscle. Chances are good that you’d rather avoid the bulk that comes with weights. Add repetitions to non-weight exercises, instead.

Remember, a good cellulite reducing exercises routine is all about finding balance. You need to include both the aerobic and the anaerobic. You should find that your cellulite starts to dissipate, once you start a well-balanced exercise routine.
